Simon & Jude, Apostles

October 28, 2015 all-day

Wednesday is our day of enclosure. Please join us on another day for worship.

These men are two of the lesser-known apostles. Simon is called “the zealot” in scripture, a member of the most fanatical of the Jewish nationalist groups which were trying to overthrow the Roman government. Jude is thought by some to be the brother of James and the author of the epistle that bears his name. Tradition has it that both of these men were apostles to Persia and probably martyrs.
