From Today's Office
The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon.
Psalm 92:12
We think that there are a thousand things we should be concerned with, but there is actually only one. If we take care of that one thing, all the others will themselves be done. And if we fail to take care of the one that is needful, all the others—no matter how successful we may seem to do them—will fall into ruin. —François Fénelon, Meditations on the Heart of God
Prayer of the Day for Eucharist

Heavenly Father. I pray that today I might be given a zeal to keep holy that which you have made holy: your church and your presence in the hearts of your people. I pray for conviction where I have lost reverence for you and your creation. Amen.
