I see the glass half empty, the tarnish on the silver lining, and I’m nobody’s sunshine on a cloudy day. I’m an expert at finding the one thing that could go wrong. Worry is my addiction — trivial and unfruitful. It’s a pattern established in childhood with (I suppose) valid reasons. There is, however, no excuse. Jesus came to us fragile, helpless, and surrounded by danger. What if He had arrived worried? He set instead an example of steadfast trust in all circumstances and I can choose the same.
